The Gainesville Housing Authority (GHA) is proud to offer services through the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Service Coordinator Program, a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) initiative designed to help residents achieve greater independence, financial stability, and long-term success.
The ROSS Program connects residents with educational opportunities, employment resources, health and wellness services, financial empowerment programs, and community partnerships that support every stage of their journey toward self-sufficiency.
What is the ROSS Program?
The Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Service Coordinator Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The program provides dedicated Service Coordinators who work one-on-one with public housing residents to identify goals, remove barriers, and connect families with resources that improve their quality of life.
Rather than providing direct financial assistance, the ROSS Program serves as a bridge between residents and the many community services available throughout North Central Florida
